"The whole Picture"

What is the bigger picture?

With all our distractions, we hardly see the grand scheme, seldom take note of the karma that is payed out,
seemingly on time to the actions we pay forward, or don't.
But there must be some bigger picture, else why would these things happen so systemically in the first place. Happenstance can no longer be a variable in a realm where each plank second matters, where every action has a tangible and equal reaction.
